It was time for Liz’s monthly sit in the cabinet and this time we sat with the curtains open but still in full black-out.
As usual we decided that if Liz felt inspired to verbalise her experiences she should and likewise if I felt inspired to interact I would.
Liz had chosen a new playlist of tunes consisting mainly of piano music.
At 8.30pm I did the opening prayer, turned out the red light and put the tunes on.
Four minutes later Liz began to speak.
(I haven’t transcribed everything verbatim but include audio clips if you choose to listen to all that was said)
Liz got a powerful image of an enormous serpent coiling round from the cabinet to the healing book. It was blue/green with pearl iridescence. She felt like she was in it and moving with it, a wonderful S type movement, like water. It was an energy to do with healing. A great leviathan that we are in and is part of us, this great life energy almost like an umbilical cord, a conducting energy. At the end of this snake was a person, a master holding up his hand as if to say you can’t go beyond here. He looked like Jesus and there was a gate. The place was shining and Liz couldn’t see beyond it. An energy was coming towards her and she was told to merge with it. This snake is us, like this evolutionary movement, this coil of life energy, linking us to this light being. She got the name Peter the rock and he took her into a cavern.
I saw a blue light flash on and off by the healing book.
The cavern was full of rock crystals, veins of different minerals. There was powerful healing there.
I asked if there was anybody else in the cavern?
Liz then saw hundreds of white haired elder people at the back of the cavern, praying for the world. Liz felt overwhelmed; she said they are all behind us. A lady came forward in a blue robe like a nun, Mary. This was a cave of Christ. Mary had a small lamb in her arms.
I asked if Mary had a message?
It was just that they are with us in our thoughts, they are overshadowing us… Shepherd feed your sheep… That’s the message. There’s a rocky ride to come. Liz saw a turbulent sea outside.
I asked what would cause the rocky ride?
Liz saw big movements of the earth, eruptions, falling boulders. But this is a safe place, it’s in our heart and to hold onto that. They’re steering us, the boat.
Liz got the sense of a star like the nativity. She saw nurseries and play schools and asked… How do we feed these lambs? We have something to do with small children, this generation. We should ask Mary and Peter what is the meaning of this? We’ll know the children; they’re around us at the moment. It’s the coal in the heart, keeping this shining and the children can see it’s very beautiful. Keeping alive, keeping in touch with this serpent energy and the way to the cave. They are behind us and can radiate through us. The children can use this energy and generate out like a beacon. We have contact with the children already.
Liz got an image of a grey wolf.
I asked her what feelings she got from the wolf?
A custodian of the forest and wild places. A friend, orange/yellow eyes, running in wide open spaces and forests. Liz saw snow, a log cabin and the moon. These are the places the children will enjoy, they will be there for that generation.
Liz got the name Gilbert. She saw engraving on silver or copper plate. Very ornate etching, family heirlooms.
I asked if she could see any words in the etching.
Liz said ER possibly coronation.
She then got Gilbert Murray, something to do with poetry, a connection with Keats. Liz was now in a long Victorian street, a mining town.
Liz had so many people talking to her, Aunty Mildred, photos of her grandmother, green plants. There were so many she felt it was too much.
I suggested she ask just one to come towards her to get a clear message.
Auntie Mildred wanted to thank her for some healing Liz had sent, she’s with the others now. All the etching earlier was connected with her. Liz named some of the other family members with her including her Dad who was laughing.
I asked what they thought of the work we were doing and are they part of the team?
Liz said they’re pleased and she thought they were on the team.
She now had a little boy in a night dress.
I asked if Liz could get is name. Had he come alone or was he with somebody. Has he come for a reason?
Liz got the name Paul and said he was with his Grandma. He was pulling his Grandma along, she could be blind and needs help, her name is Marion. Paul seemed to be dressed as a choir boy. Liz thought he was on the other side and she is on this side.
Liz got the impression of Phillip.
Liz then got Wendy.
I asked her to describe Wendy.
Spectacles, greyish hair below ears. She’s knitting something. A stripy school scarf. She’s the sort of person you’d find in a shop, kind, straight laced, ordinary. A school boy next to her. Boxes of Crawford’s biscuits.
I asked if she would have been interested in this subject?
Yes, she might have done. She was somebody involved in the community, making cups of tea, stalls, connection with a church, possibly Spiritualist. She’s smiling, just wants to let us know she’s here. Passing the biscuit tin around, it’s also a collection tin. She helps support people.
When Liz saw Phillip earlier he was surrounded by precious things.
She got the name Damien connected with lepers. A good man, he worked with the people who were ill that other people wouldn’t work with and contracted the disease himself but he didn’t mind, he put himself aside. The energy of doing that is freely available. You don’t have to worry if you want to help just do it, you can, you get all the support and energy you need from the other side when you identify with that.
Liz had a strange sensation of a long elephant’s nose and Elena wanting to talk though it, something about brail. Elena had grey hair, refined features, a bit like Vanessa Redgrave. She got the feeling of Winston Churchill’s house, walking down the conservatory.
There were so many people overlapping, flitting into each other. Wonderful people interlocking dimensions, co-existing. Liz was like an observer walking through rooms. She suggested if anybody wants to say something strong and clear they should shout loud so she can fix on that. But at the moment she was just scanning. She got the words… Yay I walk through the valley of death…
The music ended and I asked the team to draw back a little.
Liz had a lot of pulling around her solar plexus and still felt a little light headed.
She got the name Brenda right at the end.
I did the closing prayer, sent out healing and did our closing down exercise by which time Liz was feeling fine.
Liz was happy with the tunes she’d selected, she felt they helped her.
She had got quite emotional at times, particularly when her family members were with her.
I think the Wendy that Liz got could well be Wendy who used to sit in the Mercury Circle when it started in 1999. She also sat with Colin Fry in his Friday group. Liz mentioned… ‘Passing the biscuit tin around, it’s also a collection tin’ …we used to put a few quid in a tin passed around at Colin’s at the end of his sittings. I’m pretty sure it was a biscuit tin and it would be interesting to know if it was a ‘Crawford’s’ tin or not but I guess it’s long gone now. Liz also said… ‘She helps support people’ …which was very true as she sat in support of several physical mediums even though she was herself a good trance medium but she preferred sitting for others rather than developing herself. The way Liz described her was pretty much how I remember her and it’s also interesting Liz got Brenda at the end as this was Wendy’s friend who also sat in the Mercury Circle in 1999 and with Colin.
