17th Sitting 16/12/2014


We had the room set up as usual but Liz decided to sit with the cabinet closed this time.

At 8.30pm I did the opening prayer then turned out the light and put the music on.

About five minutes later I had a tickly nose, popping in my ears and a pressure on my forehead.

After another ten minutes I was getting cold all over except for my hands which were warm.
Then my arm nearest the cabinet was lifted and outstretched towards the cabinet with my hand palm upwards.
As this happened Liz began to speak…

‘Someone saying they’ve left their guns behind, they’re on the beach… The sea urchin… Jerry, Jennifer…’

‘I’m looking at shattered ends of bone, it’s not pretty…’

‘I’ve had this Michael or Jerry there where everything was torn and broken. They wanted out of it, they’ve had enough and I had the story of the tinderbox, where there’s a tinderbox and you strike it… the witch gives him a tinderbox, you strike the tinderbox and it brings a dog with eyes as big as windmills and you can make a wish, wish to go wherever he wants, strike the flint and that flares up sparks from the tinderbox… So he can go wherever he wants away from here. Sensed he was on a battle field… I see the St Georges flag waving now, he’s gone…’


‘I sense somebody; he says he’s come here before… He says “Hair of the dog…” I got this feeling of racing cars… There’s a large bar of like Fairy soap, green soap, large square block’

There was a noise like something brushing across the recorder, seven seconds into this clip…


‘It’s Terrence again and Rosy, seems to be a lot of people…’

‘Seem to have a little girl here, she’s got like sort of berries on, curly hair, red or auburn, it’s not modern more like 30s, Clarisse or Claris, wearing a tunic…’


‘I had a telescope then and the name Copernicus… Taylor again…’

‘Earlier there was someone in a carriage; it was like they were inside of a carriage and then I thought it was a funeral hearse and the body was… somebody’s body was being put in a pauper's grave or mass grave, the person was very upset and I just had to tell him that it’s only his body, he was still there and suggest that he just left it behind, he could go where he wanted now, and we sent him off, he said he wanted to go to Cornwall or Devon, Penzance, I sent him off, he learnt to fly, this bird helped him get the hang of it, I think by then he… Asked him if there was anyone he knew that had died that was close to him, he had an aunt and he thought of her…’


‘I tried to get an address from someone later who wanted to, I couldn’t quite make it out, it was like Treasure or Chestnut, I got Chestnut Tree House, I thought it could equally well be Chaseley, thought it wasn’t at all clear really’


‘Just got 1720, don’t know if that’s a date that relates to the man in the hearse whose body was dumped’

‘Colouring bits of information is quite common, it’s inevitable, still trying to get the nuggets without the fluff, difficulty getting, keeping the personality alive, let the other come through… I got this image of a wine bottle, and then you’ve got the residue in an old wine and you try to pour some wine into a bottle that’s already got… can’t get the full flavour’

The music ended.

Liz still felt a bit spaced out.
She could feel things pulling away from her, a bit like coming out of a state of pins and needles and she felt a strange sinking feeling in her belly.

I did the closing prayer, sent out healing and did our closing down exercise.

Liz had drifted off a few times during the sitting and had felt herself being overshadowed at times.
She noticed a few things going on in her throat.

I had also drifted off and had a few fleeting visions…
I saw bird seed laid out in front of me and was feeding it to people.
I also saw two ladies dressed in white robes with brilliant golden hair looking at me. They looked away when they realised I could see them.
Finally I was opening a wooden door with a mirror on it and I saw in the reflection two smartly dressed 1930s style men with baggy black trousers and top hats. They appeared to be dancing together…

16th Sitting 11/11/2014


We had the room set up as normal and again sat in full blackout with the cabinet open.
The music volume was set very low throughout.

At 8.30pm I did the opening prayer, put the red light out and the music on.

After about five minutes I noticed the atmosphere looked mottled and I noticed a small light swirling around in the centre of the room.
The room was beginning to look pinkish then I saw big bright blobs build-up which were more blue in colour.

A few minutes later Liz reported a feeling of a dark shadow coming over her and a bright light in the centre of her vision.
She then felt she was being taken into blue clouds.
A bright point of light flashed in her left field of vision as she got the sensation of paddling in a canoe and a feeling of the Sioux Indians. Liz felt the light flash was a confirmation to her that the visions were real.

I had a lot of tickling in my hair and left ear which continued on and off throughout the session.

Liz then said…

‘Feels as though I’m in a canyon, mountain gorge, canoeing and rapids…’

‘I have this girl, long hair, it’s all tangled and it’s full of like acorns bits of wood husks, like beads threaded. Living in the gorges like a nature spirit, I see through the centuries, popping up, always this earth presence, a good way to live, camouflaged, in touch with the flora of the forest, wolf skin, Blue Cloud wearing wolf skin, says it’s good to wear wolf’s skin. To hunt like a wolf… to be invisibly, it’s the invisible worlds…’


‘I’ve got the name Claris or Charisa and the name Queenie. There are two planks of wood or bookends clamped together… This Blue Cloud again and snake skin man, he wanted to talk about Teresa. I just get this picture of autumn leaves in the woods, forest. Teresa is running through, the nature child, hair is all tangled’


‘Medicine man, curing…’

‘Best medicine, it’s the earth medicine, berries…’

‘I’ve got the words to a song… Where’er you tread the blushing stream shall flourish…’

‘It’s the spirit helpers, looks like Lucy in the sky with diamonds…’

‘It’s the healing feminine presence as Lone Wolf goes rushing down through the gorges in the canoe… Blue Cloud is wrapped in wolf skin, with knots in her hair, making potions, making medicine, medicine woman… Then the canoe is smashed on the rocks and Lone Wolf needs mending. It’s Blue Cloud… medicine… But Blue Cloud is in hiding, hiding in the woods because she’s been spurned, she’s been rendered mad, it’s the warriors, cast her aside… This is the great sadness and the poison… This hidden earth spirit needs reinstating… Francis wants to say something… Restore the wolf skin… She’s had to cloak herself in wolf skin, unloved by all accounts, but it’s the protection and her tender fee wasn’t value… A long history of female oppression, it’s a journalist that can write about it but it doesn’t end, it’s a struggle for reinstating the feminine, locus, the healing will come from there, Francis just wants to say the wolf skin is just a protective cover… the forces of devastation and destruction and desecration… Like Joan of Arc had to put on protective armour, the small voices which she was honouring… Teresa… I’ve got a Hillary… There are a lot of ladies with unfinished business… In reality the divine feminine has had to be hidden, it’s been desecrated, despised, fraughted…  Blue Cloud is a medicine woman and she is shouting… the blue cloud with the silver lining… free the woman, that’s the message, free… Not only the healing the man but healing of the warrior, all women must be free and then we can paddle the canoe safely, safely through the torrents, down the gorges, over the rocks, into the caverns with the green trailing ivy vines. This is the story of Adam and Eve, this being told by Blue Cloud…’


(I noticed a few extra sounds in the recordings which could be just Liz’s throat or her chair making noises but if you listen to the above recording at about 9.09 between the words ‘locus’ and ‘the healing’ there’s a sound like a voice saying ‘very good’)

‘Blue Cloud’s very sad in the countries where the boys are valued more than the girls all over the world… In so far as you close your hearts to the cries of the wolf skin, you deny the mother, mother Eve, you deny the earth, you deny your birth right, you deny God, you deny Jesus, you deny Buddha, you deny the Great Spirit and the wolf skin woman is the injured woman, the injured healer, the medicine woman who is case aside… reinstate her; you can’t go to the stars without her… Seven bridges, seven bridges we shall cross, and at the seventh there will be blue clouds, silver lined and the sun will shine through…’


‘I’ve got Henry and rausha blocks. It’s a psychological tool, rausha blocks they use for testing. Not sure what the significance is, rausha…  never mind… I keep getting the word Terrence, and Terrence Higgins Foundation… someone’s saying it’s very simple, I wonder if it’s Freddie? I got Queenie before. Ha, he’s become a feminist, yeh, sure… well who wouldn’t he says when you see how macho worlds developed. Felix or Felicity… Getting his knickers in a twist, ha, ha… yeh I seem to get all these… ha, ha… like great spangled jewels… sense of fun, all the colours of the rainbow’  


The music ended.

Liz was still laughing.

I then did the closing prayer, sent out healing and did our closing down exercise.

It was interesting that Liz had got Terrence Higgins Foundation as in the original Mercury Circle we had given a donation to this charity after Freddie had asked us to.

Liz had felt a hand on her head at one point during the session and at times felt she was actually in some of the situations like paddling the canoe…
  

15th Sitting 23/10/2014


We sat in full black-out with the cabinet open and I sat nearer to Liz to better hear what she said.

We decided that Liz would start off with a visualization and verbalise what she experienced and I would ask questions where appropriate then see where it leads…

At 8.30pm I did the opening prayer, turned out the red light and put the music on with the volume turned down low.

Three minutes later Liz began speaking…

‘Speeding along in this boat, on this river, there were flags, it was like a pleasure cruise, feels like Captain Hook, again like a sort of piratical figure that I’ve seen before there. We’re racing, it’s like racing under this bridge and it’s heading towards, and it’s like Tibet, the mountains with the prayer flags. Speeding towards there and there’s black haired people… The snow peaks and the prayer flags, the passes… We appear to be going to a remote area and the snow, there’s a cave, icicles. There’s a very old man, white hair, a bit of a beard and a sort of squarish hat on. He’s smiling, very friendly; he’s cooking something, scraping the snow’

Me… ‘Can you move towards this man?’

‘Yeh, my companion is there with me still, he’s very tall in comparison with this man. This man hasn’t really said anything… Just got an image of one eye, it’s just like an eye in the middle of the forehead… I got the butter lamps, so it’s like a sort of temple… It’s quite big inside, lots of yellow light and children’

Me… ‘What are the children doing?’

‘They’re monks, novices; it’s like a spiritual school’

Me… ‘Can you see any of the teachers?’

‘The old man’s with me there, I’m not in the cave any more… Education, education, education…’

Me… ‘Can you get an impression of what it is they’re teaching?’

‘Discipline, spiritual discipline, but they’re fun, they’re laughing too. I get the feeling they go tobogganing, they get their kites, they have fun... I feel that the red and gold of their robes… He’s just telling me that the teaching of children from a young age in spiritual principles is very important but these children have a sense of lightness about them, a sort of joyfulness’

Me… ‘Are you able to ask where it is you are at the moment?’

‘The immediate thing I got was something like Waynok, Weknok, I don’t know what that is’

Me… ‘Is it somewhere on this physical earth, or is it somewhere apart from that?’

‘My feeling is it’s in the past… I think I was taken back… I’m back in the cave’

Me… ‘You’re in the cave now are you?’

‘Yeh…’

Me… ‘What can you see in the cave?’

‘A lot of snow… outside… In the cave there is a chest and there’s a lot of scrolls in there. I think there are other passages in the cave. At the back it’s blackened, they had fires but they keep trying to keep some history alive, tradition…’

Me… ‘Can you see what’s written on the scrolls?’

‘No, it’s in Tibetan in the old…’

Me… ‘Do you still have people with you or are you alone now?’

‘The old man’s there but he’s just getting on with cooking. My friend’s still there just outside waiting. I should ask a question I think, I should ask this old man what we can do to help our children better, has he got any suggestions’

Me… ‘Okay go ahead and ask that’

‘More small schools in quiet places, in Tibet there’s a Krishnamurti school, beautiful environments, small classes, intimate contact, friendly discipline, the Steiner one is good too. It’s the incarca love of the spiritual dreams… and the outdoor nature… and away from television… to use the internal imagination… the small schools… and the home educators… but the teachers need to be more in…’


‘I got stuck on the Annapurna trail. I asked my friend if we could build a big bonfire for some of those that got lost in the snow, anyway, got the feeling of a European man there, he’s got a parka and a hat with snow flaps and beard. He was glad to warm himself, tried to ask him to think of people he knew on the other side to reach out but he just wanted to get warm first’


‘Got the name Murray… and… a sense of being stranded. I was in quite a dark place for a bit, sort of spangly dark, underground’

Me… ‘Are you still in the cave or have you moved away from there now?’

‘No, no I’m both here and on the Annapurna slopes, and I asked my friend to set fire to the galleon, to the boat, to make a big fire for anyone that was lost, to warm themselves’

Me… ‘And have people appeared?’

‘I got Murray but don’t know if that’s somebody here or there, Murray, the name Murray… Got a feeling of birds… I got a feeling of someone rather dishevelled dressed like a nurse, old fashioned nurses outfit with the cap, sort of… like somebody from some sort of disaster’

Me… ‘Is this person in need of help?’

‘I don’t know, she’s coming forward to tell me something, I don’t know if it’s a nurse or a nun, mixture of both, something to do with the Ebola… or something similar. It might have been a plane crash, can’t tell, it’s as if… she’s turned round towards me, she’s dragged herself out of… okay, I just put my arms around her’

Me… ‘Ask her if she knows where she is’

‘She’s fleeing, she thinks she’s fleeing, it’s like there’s a wind, it’s like she’s being pulled by this great wind. I decided go with it and look to the light, I can feel these hands reaching down on me she needed the company…’

Me… ‘Maybe she needed to meet you to help her on her way’


Liz got the words magic, magician and Paul Daniels.  

Liz continued…

‘Seeing something develop, they had this very, very old tree, almost grey, a very old hawthorn. Then there was a well with like a yew tree around it. Now the well is buried, it’s all grown over with ivy and all these creepers over it, it’s buried. There was something important about it, or somehow I was just being shown it and it was really like the story of the frog princess, the frog that turns into a prince, the enchanted frog, that’s the magic… yes the significance of that story... This is the only; she allowed the frog that she loathed to share her bed, to eat out of her bowl. If she was kind to this loathsome creature it would transform into what it truly was, which was a prince’


‘I think I was just being reminded of the spiritual power over these fairy tales and stories, these magic, in the magic transformative power of love that these stories, the profound teaching, tell’


‘Got another name, Bailey, connection with photography, flash lights… Some sort of connection with the underground, subway’

‘I asked to have some training and this woman in a deep blue… a nurse came along and talked and it was like an enormous hall, skating rink of people, there was just more and more as I looked, these people they seemed to be dancing or skating around and then it sort of condensed into like an arena, like in a circus or something but it was lots of children or, and there’s like a great dark pool in the middle, some of them had their feet in it, they were watching it, the surface, and I got a feeling that you could respond to anything you saw, that you could, that there was help, there was a lot of helpers there in the background, shadowy, loads of them, dark… Just knowing that there’s a lot there… I guess the feeling is in that what you put out the thought, it’s picked up and like a reflection can be amplified’  

Me… ‘Are you able to go back down and put your own thought in the water and see what comes back?’

‘I’ll try…’

One and a half minutes later…

‘Yeh, I put all the suggestions there, first I got the Annapurna slopes, to keep the bonfire going for those that need to come to terms with their predicament, those that want rescuing don’t realise they can go beyond that now, and the tube, I don’t know if there’s people stuck there from the terrible disasters, so I just put that in, when I came back I had this thought I don’t know how long I, how to work, how to be there so I put the thought there for the rescue services to be there and I think there is all these people here that pick it up, see the reflection, let them know they’ll be there now, that execute that, I put it there it’s reflected, I don’t have to worry, I don’t need to stay with it, I think, I can let go of it’


Liz got the name Gordon. She thought it was someone she knew, or it could have been Gordon Higginson. He had a lady with her with short dark hair, possibly a Sophie or Lucy. Liz felt they were going to work with her.

The music ended.

I checked Liz was okay and waited for her to feel back with it before doing the closing prayer, sent out healing and did our closing down exercise…  

14th Sitting 04/09/2014


We had the room set up as usual for a ‘Liz in the cabinet’ sit.

I did the opening prayer at 8.30pm then turned off the red light and put the music on.

Three minutes later I had a pressure on my forehead and popping in both ears.
I felt a light tug on my left trouser leg.
The energy in the room seemed to build up quickly and there were pin-prick lights darting about.
I got a fleeting whiff of flowery perfume.

I then saw a bright blob build up in front of me and I saw a pin-prick light swirling around within it.

I heard a creaking sound to my left.

Liz then started to speak…

‘Namaste, the word Namaste keeps coming, it’s a whole global initiative… picked up with Kathmandu and the hippie trail started, its initiative, accelerative…’


I felt a light touch on my left leg.

Liz continued…

‘I’m seeing some low hills… teletesities… qua, qumem, qualla, qua, quiss…’


‘I’ve got the feeling we’re suddenly all being rolled up in a carpet, that this journey is not quantifiable, it’s not linier, it’s not, when you try to get a sense of time scale it’s all happening simultaneously at a higher level, a different perspective. You see the beginning and the end point, they’re already there, all held not only in our perspective but on the low hills walking towards in a linier fashion, all times, old time, out of time, we can’t quantify it here… Dorothy, I’ve got Dorothy again, Dorothy Carrin’


I felt something in my hair, like there was something crawling in it.

Liz continued…

‘Get the feeling the millennium was pivotal. Keep getting Namaste the greeting; they’re all here, greetings Namaste. Kathmandu is important; get a feeling of elephant tusks, just tusks… Sky energy, from the sky…’


I could see black shadows moving around and above me.
Then there was a cool breeze in my right ear and a fuzzy feeling on my right leg.

Liz began making lip-smacking noises in the cabinet…

‘Eagle, eagle, it’s trying to take… temper…’


‘I’ve got Ceylon, land with tea, tea bushes and temple… gold, gold and green…’


‘Treadle, treadle… (there was a loud click/crack, like an electrical discharge, in the room to my right which came out on the recording) …testament, testament, trying to define something, I had the black caps… help I want to be found… they’re teasing out words I don’t know if I’m getting the right…’

I told Liz not to worry about it just give whatever comes.

‘Teasing, teasing…’


Liz got a personal message for a family member.
She was getting a lot of tickling in her right ear.

Liz continued…

‘Betty Siskin, I keep getting the orange robes, they’re transmitting, they have a lot of influence… The orange robes and black caps… Its old knowledge, old wisdom and they don’t want it to be lost… crumbling, it’s crumbling… Yes that’s where the marble comes in, the bricks, I’ve got this pink and grey and white marble. Marble floors, marble… and building block, grey and white… Special qualities and mineral, it’s the sun… I have a silence of sound… I can hear a sound…’ (Liz had a sound like a long continuous note in her head and she tried to reproduce it)


Liz asked me to turn down the music as she tried to hear and reproduce the sound again.
I suggested the sound might develop into a word.
Liz now heard very feint music. It reminded her of hearing something similar on the bus and thinking it was someone listening to music on headphones.
We’d had a communication recently about listening out for piano music but Liz thought this sounded more like an organ or violin music.
I couldn’t hear anything.
Liz was getting more tickling in her right ear, feeling like an insect crawling around in it!!!
I put the music back on.

Liz got…

‘Kaleidoscope… cinema…’

The atmosphere in the room was changing and looked sparkly to me.

Liz continued…

‘Sacred sacrament… It’s to hold all things sacred; it’s a very sacrilegious age… very, holding things sacred, that’s the importance, the holding, the sacrament… That simple sacrament of bread and wine and the transmutation, it’s a flash in the pan, some of the simplest everyday items become transformed to the sacred…’


‘Testing to see if the lineage has survived…’

‘It’s a question of the key…’

‘The word Sacramento… a place’

‘Almost I feel we’re being shown a chest, a treasure chest full of sacramental objects. Locked, we’re being asked to unlock it but its inside us, we’ve got the key, they’re showing, find the key inside, these objects, its unlocking the everyday sacredness, to cherish the sacraments’

The music ended.


I asked Liz if she had any final words and she said…

‘I think that was the profound message in all of that was to worship the sacred in the everyday, to value, to seek, to look into this treasure trove of the everyday ordinariness that images of sacred objects to be cherished… that’s the true worship from the foothills of Ceylon’


Liz felt she had red robed Tibetan monks with her but they were now going.

I did the closing prayer, sent out healing and did our closing down exercise.



Afterwards Liz told me that at times she had felt an energy coming into her. It was like she was being emptied and something else was gradually sweeping through, almost like a wave of water…

13th Sitting 08/08/2014


We had the room set up as normal with Liz in the closed cabinet and me to her right.
I asked Liz just to relax with no expectations and allow the team to work with her as they think best whether it’s trance, inspirational speaking, clairvoyance etc...
She was coughing as she sat in the cabinet which is always a good sign that the team are starting to move in.

I did the opening prayer, turned out the red light and put Liz’s CD on.

After about five minutes I noticed the atmosphere becoming wavy, a bit like being on water.
(Liz told me afterwards she’d had images of rivers at the beginning)

Then it seemed like the room was dancing to the music.
I noticed a few pin-pricks to my right which seemed to be shooting towards the cabinet.

Then Liz began to speak…

‘I keep getting the name Davina, Davina… It’s one more river to cross, that’s the river Jorden… I have the feeling Davina is a dancer, she’s dancing now’


‘Something to do with shoes, the Moscow State Ballet… get a feeling that it’s Croat… I get the mushroom… The mushroom is the colour; it’s this pinkie beige, this pinkie beige colour’


‘Seems a bit cross, it’s not mushroom colour, they’re showing me mushroom like you put in a shoe, like a sort of wedge, stretching the shoe’


I got a strong fuzzy feeling on the back of my right leg. Just in a small area like it was being poked and lasted about 30 seconds.

‘She said Ludmilla, don’t know if Ludmilla is a colleague but I have a feeling it’s a wardrobe mistress… or laundry’


It seemed to be getting lighter in the room to me. As if light was coming in through the walls.

‘Just get the words dancing their way to light, all the old fairy tales’


‘I have a feeling that these two are connected with the ballet, wanted to dance but they were on the menial side, the wardrobe, but now they’re free to create and dance and they’re dancing their way to light. It’s like a new lease of life; they’ve found their inner dancer. I just gave them the blessing and in a way let go of them’


‘I think the message that they wanted to give was you can develop the skill by association. They weren’t performers, they were in the background, but they picked up all the nuances, the gift, they picked up the gift by association and dedication’


‘Vastus, Vastus, Vastus, Vastus Grassious, Nesta, Nesta… Oh who’s eyes, seeing the almond blossom, I think it’s Francis… Vast’


I was feeling light touches on the front of my legs and face.

‘In the middle, middle, in the middle, the in-between, out at the edges, all held at the in-between and the edges, all held in one... Vasith Ecklathuma… Null boundary… I’ve got Carol or Caroline... Carol… Raven’s wing, oh… Accepting the seven’


My feet suddenly went very cold.

‘I won’t let go of it, that message keeps coming through, please tell her I love her, this is Carol or Caroline and it’s accepting this seven, I just say it… okay seven’


‘There’s something trying to get through, first I got snow drops and then I got a picture of falling down a snowy slope which is again a snow drop… and some lovely people… ha, I’ve got a sort of classified information, classified… There’s a sense of a great delight, playfulness, the beauty, and one of the people going down the slope, had a feeling it’s a medium, somebody that I’ve known, I knew, a man, before that a girl… It’s just a lot of laughter, lot of joy’


‘I seem to be taken very fast on a sleigh through forest, through tundra and there’s some people in uniform there, ugh, they’re not very nice, they look slightly Chinese, slightly Mongo, sort of mustard coloured uniform but there’s red and black on peeked caps. Generals… Ludmilla still seems to be around, I think she’s concerned… It’s like the proverbial wolves in the forest, but these men, ugh, aggressive, they’re plotting… The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing, it’s all under cover. She’s worried about her Russia. Now I feel there’s cremation, there’s tears, there’s… ugh… We have to pray for Russia, there’s… bad Generals… an air crash, ugh, ugh, ugh… How could you do this… I want to go home but I can’t… It’s all right…’


‘I’ll say dance to the light but we’ll pray for peace, for the peacemakers and the wolves will devour each other and all the Generals. You’ll be… you go to the light….. enjoying the prayers’


‘Istance…’

‘It’s like the lion, the witch and the wardrobe’

Liz gave a couple of fast exhalations forcing some of the words out.

‘It’s a Harsa, Harsa, Harsa… Horley, Hatherway…’


‘Where the bee sucks, there suck I, in a cowslip’s bell I lie… We’re getting all the poets… There’s Longfellow… Hiawatha… they’re all around, ah… they’re my company… This is a kindergarten but the real school, to graduate, the real school’s in the sky, next level up’  


‘I’ve got Terry again, he just wants to say hello, Terry, Terrance’


The music ended and I asked if there were any other words to say…

Liz sat quiet for a while as she was feeling a bit fuzzy.

Then I did the closing prayer, sent out healing and did our closing down exercise.

Liz had felt a rush of energy when she connected with the air crash. She felt it falling; she sensed sleight of hand and a feeling of grief and mourning. She felt they’d directed us to the situation to send light and healing.

She had got a picture of Miss Price, a school teacher who had made her learn ‘The Song of Hiawatha’

12th Sitting 03/07/2014


It was time for Liz’s turn in the cabinet.

As usual we set the room up exactly the same as in our Monday Mercury Light Circle, Liz and I swapped places and the music CD was a selection made by Liz.

Last Monday Liz had been given advice on sitting for trance. In the past she has worked in a more ‘inspired speaking’ way. This time she was going to experiment by just repeating words that come to her and try not to elaborate with her own imagination.

I did the opening prayer setting the intent for trance development with Liz then turned out the red light and put the music on.

The energy seemed to build quickly in the room and after about five minutes felt thick and dense.
I had pressure on my forehead and felt a few touches and tingles around my right ear.
It was getting very cold in front of me.

Liz said…

‘Toby… Tobacco…’

There was a white mist building up in the room.
I had a fuzzy feeling in my legs and a pulling from the back of my neck.

Liz continued…

‘Double eight… Eighty eight…’

I felt light touches on the back of my fingers.
The room still looked white and misty.

Liz continued…

‘Galloways… Oyster, oyster… Raucous, Raucous… O-sphere, like a double O… Goon… Unity… Dotty Cameron, Belmore Street, Shauna and Olatunji…  Book end… Irandhir, Cursty… Fish head, lots of fish, Herrings… Stifle… Detective… Dobbin… Confucius or confused… Stertorous, sanctorius… Telephone link… Paderewski… Pomp and circumstance… Collosus… Silver… Ohio… Taylor… Finkelstein… Phew… Tobias… Narcissus… Narcolepsy… Naressa… Nemesis…’

The room was now looking a peach colour.

Liz continued…

‘Nat… (she couldn’t get this word but felt it was something nautical) Terrance… Hepsibar… Sibber… Astronomical… Horoscope… Chronology… Sidereal… Constants… Simarik… Susurrant like somatessa… Rosy, Rosia…’

The music ended.

Liz was slowly coming back after being in an altered state.
I then did the closing prayer, sent out healing and did the closing down exercise.

Liz had fallen asleep at some point during the session. She felt very disoriented when she woke up, thinking she was in bed. It took her a while to realise where she was.

Liz had sensed many people around she knew and felt they were all trying to get words to her.
She saw a lot to do with astrological charts and nautical terms but couldn’t get all the words clearly.
She’d felt a tight band around her middle.
Liz had also felt movements in her throat and had made a few quiet huffing and oooo sounds.

When Liz was telling me all this I saw a pin-prick light above me.

We both felt it had been an interesting and useful experimental session. We will continue in a similar way next time we sit unless we get any further advice to do things differently...

11th Sitting 22/05/2014


The room was set up as it is on Mondays, the only change being we swapped places and Liz sat in the cabinet and this time we had it closed.
The intention was that if Liz felt inspired to speak or felt she was to be controlled she would let that happen.

I did the opening prayer at 8.30pm, turned out the red light and put the music on which is a 75 minute CD with tracks chosen by Liz.

Five minutes later I was getting very cold round the legs and had a pressure on my forehead.
Then I felt tickles down each side of my face. It felt like something was trickling down.
I felt something tickling in my left ear.

Liz then began to speak…

‘Somebody I can see, a man with a sort of pinkie face, blonde hair, youngish… Open neck shirt, grey jacket. He’s been in the sun. Francis. It’s curly hair, very blonde, slightly red skin. Seems to be under a palm tree, flowering tree. He’s smiling…’


It was getting cold in front of my legs again, felt like a cool breeze.

Liz continued…

‘Get the word community, I think they want me to talk about community, comes from sharing, a sense of being united, enjoying shared endeavour and it’s that that we need to get back. The simplicity and joy of a shared life, like bees, it’s a harmony, to join in community, it’s a blessing. Has the same effect as singing in a choir where everyone has their part but the whole comes together as a harmonious enterprise, created unison’


It was looking misty in the room.
Then it started looking lighter, a cream/yellow colour.
I felt cold and fuzzy down my right side and I felt a touch on my left foot.

Liz seemed to be taken more out of it for a while.
She didn’t speak for about 25 minutes and then continued…

‘It’s the kaleidoscope, the pattern. Then you get bored, then it wears thin, you just a little wiggle and you change it. The same elements but a new look, a new way of seeing, a new pattern. And in community you come together, first one way in a joint enterprise, sharing and the elements break up and reunite and another way for another activity, like clouds… It’s the same units but the union. The knack is the point of change, to let go of the pattern so a new one can start to form, so trust… It’s like the bird has to break the shell to hatch. You have to let go of the old patterns and swim free from it and then the calling together, reconvening for new work is creation. This is the creation of new ways of being. Out of so many simple units repeated pattern you can get so many new formations…’

Me… ‘Are they like snowflakes?’

‘Just a twist of the wrist and the pattern’s broken and a new one begins to come into being, yeh, crystallization… But there has to melt, the crystals have to break up or it would just, everything would come to a standstill, frozen into immobility. But that’s not the way, movement and change, reshaping like the clouds in the sky…’


I saw a flash to my right.

Liz continued…

‘I feel I have a lady with me, Pat who I knew; I don’t know if she’s still… I had a feeling she’s telling me she had a stroke…’

Me… ‘Well she’s very welcome’

‘I think I saw her in a dream recently, she was the lady with the red hair’

Me… ‘Has she any other message for the circle?’

Li said she could feel them working with her throat, then continued…

‘The community, she was a dancer…’

Me… ‘Does she bring an energy with her?’

‘Yes it’s passing through me… Sam… and she was with the archaeologists… The great value of community, of the joint enterprise, of the sharing, of the striving together, to create and this is love in action. It’s the expression, the true community… But from where I am now I can see the great value, the importance, joy… and these little enterprises like the kibbutzim unions all these social enterprises are a forerunner, a shadow, an expression, an attempt to create the love in action… enjoy, appreciate…’


‘It’s the shadow dancing I can see, Pat’s hands, like on the sheet where you make the pattern and that’s what the spirits are doing behind the scenes they’re these efforts to reshape communities to come together all these enterprises where communities join they’re inspired, they’re the shadow dancing from, we are breathing into them, we are the motivators, we motivate, so when you see these efforts to combine, to produce new communities, new ways of coming together you know that the motivation is from spirit… We’re close behind; they’re shadows of our love…’


‘There are these invisible threads, runners, links, joining all these efforts together, into a mosaic, into a pattern. Then with one shake reforms and regroups it’s all manifestation of our motivation of our thought…’


‘Francis is here again, leaning on his spade or rake, he’s pleased’

Me… ‘Would he like to say anything to the circle?’

‘He just endorses the way of work, of simple simplicity, contentment’

Me… ‘Has he any advice for this circle?’

‘To allow the shining to come through, to turn to the light, to remain a conduit, to feel part of this larger community, to be aware, being a nexus, a link, a hub… For the power to accumulate for these patterns, to reform, to reshape, to regenerate these links are necessary, focuses of the light, the power. This is what we’re doing. It’s like we’re the shadow dancers for the motivation for the spirit. For it to come through you need the conduit, the nexus, the hub, the focus and that provides the energy to shake the strings and the threads in the material world and along those threads the changes, the pattern can begin to jiggle and change. The energy can accumulate to affect that switch over. This is happening, pattern is changing but the energy to make that flip over, we need these hubs, these vortexes, nexus, power centre and a force will travel along the threads out to give energy, to reshape and the time is coming when these new communities will form based on love, shared endeavour, all in the light, all united in love, in simplicity… in contentment…’


The music CD ended.

Liz was still a bit spaced out so I gave the team time to withdraw before doing the closing prayer, sending out healing and our closing down exercise.



Liz felt she had been taken partially out of it during the session and she’d felt a buzzing energy when Pat was with her.
